Mobile Cat Grooming in Haarlem

Stress-free grooming at your door, all across Haarlem

Mochi brings a fully equipped cat-grooming van straight to your door in Haarlem. No stressful carrier and no trip across town — we park right outside your home and your cat is groomed calmly, just steps from their own territory.

Haarlem’s historic centre and narrow canal houses were never built for stress-free cat carriers. Our mobile salon brings the spa to your door instead, from the old town to Haarlem-Noord and the green edges near the dunes.

Inside the van your cat gets the full treatment: gentle de-matting, a warm bath, nail trimming, ear and eye cleaning, a sanitary trim and personalised coat advice. Mojgan is a certified cat groomer who works without force, and the van is fully disinfected between every appointment for a hygienic, safe visit.

We bring the grooming van to every part of Haarlem. Our van is fully self-contained (its own water, heating and power), so all we need is a parking spot near your door, and parking is always free for you. Travel is always free too: there’s no call-out fee anywhere in Haarlem.

Frequently asked questions about cat grooming in Haarlem

Why choose a mobile cat grooming salon instead of a traditional one?

The whole groom takes place inside a professionally fitted grooming van. It is more hygienic (the van is thoroughly cleaned after every appointment), calmer (no waiting room and no other animals), and simpler, because the salon parks right outside your door. Your cat is spared the journey, and you don’t need to free up any space at home.

Isn’t being groomed in a van stressful for my cat?

No. The mobile salon is purpose-built as a quiet, enclosed space with nothing to startle your cat. There are no other animals and no loud noises. The groomer always works one-to-one and takes enough time for your cat to settle in.

Which areas does the mobile salon cover?

We come to every part of South Holland, North Holland, Utrecht and Almere, and we often travel further too.
Not sure whether we come to your area? Just get in touch.

How much does a grooming session cost?

An All-in groom (full coat treatment) costs €70.
It includes de-matting, nail trimming, coat care, a health check and personal advice.
See here for our other rates and details.

Are there extra costs, such as travel or parking?

No. Travel is always free throughout our service area, and parking is never charged to you.

What happens if my cat has fleas or parasites?

If fleas or other parasites are found during the appointment, a hygiene surcharge applies to cover the extra cleaning and disinfection of the grooming van. This is not a parasite treatment — it covers contamination prevention only.

Can I cancel a grooming appointment?

Cancelling is free up to 24 hours before the appointment.
Within 24 hours, or if nobody is there at the agreed time, 100% of the treatment fee is charged.

What if my cat is too stressed or aggressive to be fully groomed?

If the groom cannot be finished in one session because of stress or behaviour, a follow-up appointment can be booked within 1–2 weeks. This is charged at €35.

When does a grooming appointment count as urgent, and what does that cost?

If severe matting is causing pain or restricting your cat’s movement, it may be urgent. Call us directly for an appointment within 24 hours. A €30 surcharge applies.

Do you groom kittens as well?

Yes. For kittens up to 6 months we offer an introduction session (€35), a playful first meeting with the grooming van. It makes future grooming visits far easier.

How do I pay for the treatment?

Payment is due immediately after the treatment.
Accepted payment methods: cash, payment request (Tikkie)
Debit and credit cards are not accepted.

Do I need to prepare anything before the appointment?

You don’t need to prepare a space if the groom takes place in the mobile salon. If the treatment happens indoors, please arrange:
– A quiet, easily accessible room
– That the cat is already indoors well before the appointment
– The owner, or a responsible adult, must be present

How long does a grooming session usually take?

On average 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the condition of the coat and the cat’s behaviour.

Do you groom senior cats or cats with medical conditions?

Yes, as long as your vet has not advised against it. If you are unsure, please check with us first.

How do I book an appointment?

You can book online through the website, or call us directly if it is urgent.
